Warren Tai

CFO

Warren Tai started his finance career with Morgan Stanley in 2006 in the corporate finance team. Warren spent the next four years working with the regional managing directors in developing business strategy, operating plans and budgets. Warren’s multi-cultural background, solid financial knowledge, and can-do attitude contributed to his success at Morgan Stanley. Warren was promoted to Senior Associate in 2009 and led a small team of three financial analysts.

In 2010 Warren joined Le Pain Quotidien, a Belgium fast-casual restaurant concept. Initially Warren worked directly with the CFO on financial planning & analysis and business strategy development. While focusing on the financials, Warren expressed high interests in operations and connected well with the operators. By spending considerable amount of time working in the restaurants and analyzing the big data, Warren successfully developed and implemented a restaurant management tool in all 86 restaurants that led to $600K savings in pastry waste in 2014 and improved labor efficiency. Warren was promoted to Director of Finance in 2014 to manage a 11-member accounting team to support the full financial operation of LPQ US division. Warren completely changed the culture of the accounting team and supported the operation team with greatest service satisfaction. Warren left Le Pain Quotidien in May 2016. Since then, Warren has been the CFO of Seamore's and working together with Michael and Jay to grow the brand.
